My ideal weekend in the city looks a little something like this.
I’ll get my caffeine fix at La Colombe and hop on the Highline at one of their entrances on the west side. I’ll make my way down to 16th st and stroll through Chelsea Market and maybe pick up a book or two at Posman’s. I’ll then head towards Meatpacking to get my second caffeine fix at Kobrick’s, stop by the Whitney Museum to check out their latest exhibition and if I’m hungry, grab a bite at Santina next door.
I’ll eventually make my way to Soho, by passing through the stores on Bleecker in West Village. My usual favorites are the Citizenry, Ahlem and Showfields. And will most likely be tempted for another pick me up at Café Leon Dore.
At this point, I’ll have worked up an appetite to eat at one of my favorite restaurants Cote or CDG. Or I’ll check out a trending restaurant recommended by Eater. (Kimika is a newest favorite in the area.)
And the perfect ending to the night would include a broadway show or a late night show. But until the pandemic is over, The Daily Show on Trevor’s couch will have to do.
