I've always been attracted to hospitality because the art of the industry is based on how you make people feel. A genuine, thoughtful gesture can make the deepest impressions.
I bring a unique blend of expertise from both the hotel industry and the travel agency sector, cultivated over the last two decades of my career. From providing intuitive service at renowned hotel brands such as Mandarin Oriental to spearheading the global launch of Shangri-La's preferred partner program for select travel agencies, I've been deeply immersed in elevating brand awareness for high profile hospitality brands.
What attracted me to the travel agency sector was the opportunity to work with the world. Most recently I was the VP of Sales and Partnerships at First in Service Travel, building out travel partnerships and enhancing service offerings. I had the privilege of working with travel partners throughout the world and served on the Virtuoso Preview Advisory Board for new hotel openings such as Rosewood Hong Kong and The Raffles London at the OWO, helping provide insight in the evolving landscape.

I continue to live for travel because it adds depth to my life from the people I meet along the way. In 2024, Nara Travel Design was born as I've always loved having a first hand approach in directly shaping the way my clients travel. Nara, a nod to my Korean heritage, means to fly in Korean. It symbolizes the essence of exploration and adventure, while the crane embodies joy, celebration and luck - something I wish to embody in all my clients' travels.
Korean skincare is what helps my skin stay radiant and hydrated. Especially since flying can cause a toll on your skin.
I came across this book by Danny Meyer in college and it reaffirmed my desire to work in the hospitality industry. I'm also a huge fan of his restaurants in NYC and Manhatta is a newest favorite.
Switzerland will always have a special place in my heart as it's where I took my mom to celebrate her 60th birthday. The scenery also took our breath away.
The Arts Club is one of the most exclusive clubs in London and with only a handful of rooms, they're the most sought after in town. The scene is lively and now also houses one of the swankiest gyms in the UK.
Whenever I send clients to Hong Kong, I know they'll always be taken care of by the staff at the Upper House. They have a keen sense of knowing exactly what's on your mind and anticipating your every need.
Dar Ahlam which translates to "House of Dreams" is one of Morocco's hidden gems. This house is one of the most magical places I've ever stayed in. It's hard to describe until you actually experience for yourself.
